Aine Behan

With a BSc (Hons) in Neuroscience (University College Cork, 2000), a PhD in Neuropathology (Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, 2004), Áine is a former Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland research lecturer and has 10 years’ postdoctoral experience in preclinical research and proteomic investigation of therapeutic compounds for neurodegenerative disorders. Her research expertise is on in vivo and in vitro models of mental health and neurodegenerative diseases which is evident by her research publications in psychiatry, proteomics and neurodegeneration. With a MSc in Management and Leadership for Researchers (Institute of Leadership, RCSI, 2009), she is now an entrepreneur and currently CEO and co-founder of Cortechs.
MARK KEANE
Game Developer
Mark Keane is Game Developer at Cortechs since January 2014.He been awarded to a MFA in Visual Arts from the National College of Art and Design (NCAD) in 2010, where he trained in and visual effects. Mark was one of the three founding members of Omega Black Studio and worked there as Lead Designer on the multiplatform Real Engine game Damned for two years until the company’s dissolution in 2013. Mark always been interested in technology applied to health andn following his departure from Omega Black Studio, Mark joined Cortechs to develop the game ‘Zip and the Misty Mountain’, and is currently working to design new products.
BRIAN MURPHY
Technology Specialist
Brian Murphy has been a pioneer educational technology specialist for over 5 years. His expertise in the field of eLearning and Web 2.0 technologies has been the focus of his career until he joined Cortechs. Today, Brian is at the forefront of portable Device and Web 2.0 technologies. He is deeply committed in helping the company to deliver products that can improve everyday life of children and adults, and uses his passion for cutting-edge technology to achieve that. Brian has a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Media from Dun Laoghaire Institute of Technologies and MFA in Design and Digital technology from NCAD.
